Who is Batista Mendy?

Batista Mendy, at 23, is a very smart defensive midfielder who uses his technical abilities to contribute in the attacking phases. He is a confident ball-playing midfielder with good dribbling abilities, that allow him to connect play with teammates across the pitch. He is also strong defensively and is capable of effectively screening the backline. He has an imposing frame that helps him to dominate his physical duels. He often likes to step out and close down on opponents aggressively, but can still regulate his energy in a better way.
