Stoke City were very busy in the window and one other deal that caught our eye was the signing of Junior Tchamadeu from Colchester – xGOLD highlighted the right-back early last season and we video-scouted him throughout, our TIPPSTER rating saying that he was ready for a move to a Tier 2 club, therefore Stoke makes a lot of sense.

Who is Junior Tchamadeu?

“Junior Tchamadeu is a young right-back, who can also be deployed as a wing-back or even as a midfielder when needed. He looked capable in both the offensive and defensive transitions of his team and contributed actively to both.

Tchamadeu does well dashing into vacant spaces and used his pace to drive possession forward during transitions. He also made the right pass at the end of his efforts and often looked to play a teammate into the six yard box. He was decent defensively as well but does need to be tighter when in the vicinity of his box.”
