Today’s TFA Talent is a little older than usual at 23 – but with so many interesting players coming out of Ecuador currently, we thought we should highlight one currently learning his trade alongside Messi in Miami.

Leonardo Campana is a left-footed striker who we think could move to a good Tier 2 side in the near future.

Who is Leonardo Campana?

“Leonardo Campana is a 23-year-old forward who is tall, strong and exhibits consistently good technique.

He can hold up possession, although could be more active in seeking out the ball, and can engage perfectly well in quick combinations with players around him. He has an impressive aerial ability and is a consistent threat in the box.

In attacking transitions he can make himself available as an outlet and can turn, dribble and find a through pass in this moment.

In the defensive phase, he is much better though, and will press diligently over the course of a game, recognising when to do so.”
