Today’s TFA Talent is Plamen Andreev, an 18 y/o goalkeeper who we believe to have a very high ceiling. The sky is the limit for his longer-term future but presently, he is ready to make a move to a Tier 2 club and get regular minutes.

Who is Plamen Andreev?

“Plamen Andreev is an 18-year-old goalkeeper with a high ceiling. Possesses decent ball-playing attributes and looks confident playing those long and forward passes but his team did not use him effectively whilst playing out from the back. Quite assured with his primary tasks as he seems to do those basics right. Commands his area well and engages in aerial duels with conviction. Decent shot-stopping attributes but can improve his positioning as he tends to leave a little too much space towards his near post. Apart from this, he looks reliable in dealing with shots from range as well as from proximity. Good athleticism but needs to work on saving shots towards the bottom corner.”
